Are you a nurse or nursing assistant ready to take the next step in your development? We are now looking for a dedicated team leader for the Kidney and Gastrointestinal Department.

The department consists of two sections that work closely together and function as a unified unit. There are thirteen beds for patients with kidney and gastrointestinal disorders.

Around the patients, there is a broad team that includes doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, social workers, and dietitians. We work person-centered, and the patient meets the professionals needed to ensure that care and treatment are as safe and effective as possible.

The Central Hospital Kristianstad (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here, qualified emergency care is provided around the clock by competent and dedicated staff. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the proximity and community of a smaller hospital. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care with short waiting times across all specialties. We have approximately 2,600 employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a nurse or nursing assistant who wants to take the next step and assume the role of team leader, with a clear anchoring in clinical operations. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to develop both in your leadership and within your profession.

In the role of team leader, you will serve as the department's central contact person. You support the daily work of your team by identifying needs, creating structure, and ensuring that each employee has the right conditions to be involved in the entire patient process. You follow up on results and provide feedback to both employees and the responsible manager.

The work also involves close collaboration with the educational nurse, educational nursing assistant, and doctors to plan and ensure the right competence in the organization. You also assist with scheduling, planning of leave, and handling short-term absences.

Together with the unit manager, you actively contribute to the department's improvement and development work.

The operation runs around the clock, which means working days, evenings, and nights.

QUALIFICATIONS

For you as a nurse, a license to practice within Swedish healthcare is required, as well as language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

If you are a trained nursing assistant, we expect you to meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to previous or current program structures. It is also a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. If you have been trained according to previous program structures, it is an advantage if you have a focus on emergency care/healthcare.

Regardless of profession, we are looking for someone with several years of clinical experience. It is advantageous if you also have experience in leadership, personnel planning, or organizational development.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have a pronounced interest in leadership and a desire to develop both yourself and your team. You have good self-awareness, can maintain distance when needed, and have a positive, solution-oriented attitude. We also value a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. The role requires that you feel comfortable with issues related to scheduling, logistics, and workflows. Of course, you work in accordance with Region Skåne's values.
