to apply for the job
Make a difference. Every day.
The hospital in Ystad, with about 1,000 employees, offers a wide range of specialized care and an emergency service available around the clock. We are a manageable hospital, which facilitates coordination and communication, undoubtedly benefiting our patients and also allowing you as a resident doctor to quickly become part of the team. You have close access to experienced colleagues who provide the support you need on your way to your medical license.
As a resident doctor at the hospital in Ystad, you will gain a broad and solid insight into both surgical and medical specialties. You work independently but are also close to experienced colleagues. The hospital is large enough to provide a breadth of competence and a varied patient base, yet small enough for you to quickly get to know your colleagues. In the emergency department, you will receive valuable training in acute care, with access to support when needed.
- There is a clear interest in education among the colleagues in the clinics, creating a stimulating and educational environment for us training doctors. The supervision is structured and continuous. As part of your service, scheduled group teaching with other resident doctors is included. The resident doctors also have their own facilities for lunch and administrative work. I enjoy my time at the hospital in Ystad and can warmly recommend it as a residency location, says Ludwig Hedén, resident doctor.
