RESPONSIBILITIES
As a clinical teacher, you play an important role in strengthening competence and patient safety within Region Skåne's healthcare system.
You will, among other things:
- lead practical skills training
- create, lead, and develop realistic simulations for students and staff
- conduct simulations in-situ in healthcare's own environments or in our own simulation environments
- develop and adapt training in collaboration with healthcare providers in Skåne and Lund University
- contribute ideas and be involved in our development work, which is currently intensive.
With us, you will have a role that combines pedagogy, clinic, and innovation, where you will have ample space to be creative in both thought and action.
The position is based in Malmö, but since we work throughout Skåne, you will need to travel regularly to other locations in the region.
Here, you will work in a unique environment where development and learning are at the center. You will be part of an engaged and competent team and have good opportunities to develop within pedagogy, simulation, and leadership.
Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have language skills in Swedish that at least correspond to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale and have a good command of English in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have a specialist education in emergency medicine, intensive care, or anesthesia, as well as pedagogical education and experience.
You should have some longer experience, preferably from emergency care and from several different specialties, with great confidence and familiarity in handling acute medical situations. An interest in pedagogy, both in large and small ways, is valuable.
As a person, you are engaged, structured, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating while also being able to work independently and take your own initiative. The ability to quickly adapt to different situations is an important part of the role. You need to be confident in leading others and leading yourself, as the role requires you to safely guide individuals and groups of people facing new and uncomfortable situations. Simulating can be perceived as challenging, so you need to feel secure in your role.
Practicum is on an exciting journey, and you who come into this role now are an important piece of the puzzle.
