Your role with us

As a care assistant at Möllebackshemmet, you will work to create a safe, meaningful, and dignified everyday life for our residents. The tasks consist of personal care, social interaction, support in daily activities, and documentation according to current routines.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, nurses, and rehabilitation staff. You contribute to a professional approach where each customer's needs, wishes, and participation are at the center.

We are now looking for summer substitutes during the summer months of June, July, and August, but also for those who can start working even before the summer.

Who are we looking for?

We would like you to have training as a nursing assistant or care worker and experience working in a care and support residence. Since communication and documentation are part of your tasks, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Familiarity with documentation and computers is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who can create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. You collaborate well with people in different contexts and functions, learn new tasks quickly, and share knowledge. You are unpretentious and have the ability to work with other people, to listen, show empathy, and respect. We want you to be meticulous, engaged, and responsible in the work you perform.

This is us

Möllebackshemmet is a care and support residence located in Åhus, near the sea and nature. The residence is on one level, and each unit has its own outdoor area that is frequently used during the warmer months of the year.

Möllebackshemmet is a self-managed unit, which means that employees have greater influence over working methods, planning, and everyday decisions. With us, you will work in an engaged team where collaboration, responsibility, and customer focus are central.

The care administration's operations are aimed at the elderly and people who need functional support as well as those in need of home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and support residences, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, national gymnasium, and assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
