Röingegården is looking for summer and temporary staff for care!

Röingegården is a residential facility with special services, focused on psychiatry. The target group is adult women and men aged 18 and over with mental disabilities.

Our operations are run as a non-profit association, which means great opportunities for development as any surplus goes directly back to the operations in the development of care and other quality improvements. The association has existed since 1948. We have a long experience of working with psychiatry as we have been doing this for over 75 years.

Our starting point is "Client at the center" which means that we always put the client at the center in all contexts when we plan and discuss changes, interventions, activities, etc. “Client at the center” means that the client is involved in shaping their stay and interventions continuously.

The basis of our work is that the client should improve their mental well-being, take advantage of what works, and develop their inherent resources that can and need to be strengthened. Our goal is for the client to be able to live a dignified life, like others and on equal terms.

Our work is permeated by a solution-oriented and milieu-therapeutic approach. In client work, we base our efforts on MI and ESL. We focus heavily on good care, activities, and preventive/maintaining health care. All efforts are based on the assignment, implementation plan, and the individual weekly schedule established in collaboration with the client.

The facility has 37 round-the-clock places and 10 outpatient places, known as day activities.

Job Responsibilities

The work includes, among other things:

• Following up on social and medical care and interventions in consultation with the client, nurse, caseworker, and supervisor in employment.
• Activating clients and working with health-promoting interventions.
• Actively participating in the development of care and interventions provided at the unit.
• Participating in ongoing quality monitoring of the operations.

The interventions offered by Röingegården are based on each individual's needs and characterized by flexibility. Our overarching methods and interventions are:

· Motivational interviewing MI

· ESL – An Independent Life

· Recovery-oriented working method

· LAB – Low-Affect Response

· Clarifying pedagogy

Qualifications

Formal qualifications, experience

• Certified nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry or other qualifications deemed suitable by the employer depending on the unit.
• Experience in care work within psychiatric housing SoL and LSS as well as knowledge of the methods used by Röingegården is meritorious.

Personal qualities

• Good qualities characterized by clarity, commitment, collaboration, and flexibility.
• Good ability and experience in handling conflicts.
• Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing as well as computer skills.
• We place great importance on personal suitability.

Other

• Driver's license B is a requirement.
• Criminal record extract
