We are now looking for a dental nurse for our Orofacial Medicine clinic in Lund.

Orofacial Medicine

Orofacial Medicine (hospital dentistry) at Folktandvården Skåne supports and complements general dental care by being a referral center for patients with special dental care needs. We see medical risk patients, patients with physical and/or psychological special needs, as well as patients requiring dental care within the framework of healthcare.

The clinic in Lund works closely with other Orofacial Medicine clinics in Skåne and with the healthcare system. We provide dental care as part of healthcare and have close collaboration with other dental specialties. The clinics are gathered under the same clinic management with joint subject days and other competency-enhancing activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a dental nurse at Folktandvården Skåne, you play an important role in our work to offer health-promoting and preventive dental care for patients with special needs. You work closely with our dentists and contribute to safe, secure, and high-quality care.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting in examinations and X-rays
• Assisting in treatments
• Delegated patient care
• Administrative tasks such as cost estimates and referral management

In addition to the usual tasks of a dental nurse, some work at the reception may also occur.

The position offers a varied job with opportunities for knowledge exchange with experienced colleagues. Together, we continuously work to develop the organization and create the best possible care for our patients. As a new employee, you will participate in Folktandvården Skåne's introduction program, which includes training and networking meetings.

Additionally, we are now introducing a specialization training for dental nurses interested in becoming specialist dental nurses. This is a unique opportunity for you to take the next step in your career, deepen your expertise, and become a key person in specialist dental care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a dental nurse degree. You have knowledge of Swedish equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale, as well as good knowledge of English. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and are accustomed to working in various administrative systems. We offer training in the journal system Alfa eCare Clinics.
