About the Workplace

Valltorp is a nursing home located in the beautiful Öresundsparken at Slottshöjden, right in the center of Helsingborg. The facility has 59 apartments, 16 of which are focused on cognitive diseases and the rest on somatic care.

The operation has been awarded the Star Mark in 2024, which means we have undergone training organized by the Swedish Dementia Center. We are also particularly proud to be the winner of Helsingborg City's internal quality award in the category "Workplace of the Year" for 2024. Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant with us, you work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You carry out care, service, and support activities for our tenants, such as providing assistance during meals, social presence, and more. You create conditions for a good quality of life and a meaningful existence.

Good teamwork is essential for our success. You will be part of a team with care assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and unit managers, performing delegated tasks such as medication handover, wound dressing, and training interventions.

Other responsibilities include documentation according to current legislation and case management.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and possesses both theoretical and practical experience working with individuals who have cognitive diseases.

To proceed in the recruitment process, you need to have:

• several years of experience working with individuals with cognitive diseases
• experience in performing delegated healthcare tasks
• basic computer skills and documentation experience
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with Procapita, LifeCare, APPVA, Senior Alert, or BPSD.
