Do you want to work broadly in primary care and meet patients of all ages? We are now looking for a physiotherapist for a temporary position at Vårdcentralen Lomma. Vårdcentralen Lomma is centrally located just a stone's throw from Lomma's new train station. We have approximately 9,200 registered patients and are a well-staffed operation with about 40 employees who together possess a wide and varied competence.

The staffing currently consists of specialist doctors in general medicine, ST doctors, AT doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, psychologists, dietitians, medical secretaries, nursing assistants, and nurses. We strive for all staff to have as close cooperation as possible. Furthermore, our nurses and district nurses have extensive experience in various areas such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, and elderly care. We also have a child health center, which means we meet patients of all ages. In addition, we are responsible for three special accommodations and have a good collaboration with Lomma municipality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist, you will be part of a team with two other physiotherapists. Your tasks will include examination, treatment, and training, both individually and in groups. The team is the obvious first point of contact for issues related to the musculoskeletal system.

Patients of all ages with various diagnoses come to us, which gives you the opportunity for a varied and developing job. Treatment is provided both individually and in groups. You will have the opportunity to collaborate around patients with other staff categories at the health center, such as nurses, doctors, and psychologists.

We regularly supervise students, and the professional development of our staff is a given.

The position is a temporary position for about 1 year with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physiotherapist with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement.

Experience from primary care is an advantage. It is beneficial if you have completed any training such as Acupuncture, Axelina, the McKenzie method (MDT-mechanical diagnosis and therapy), Orthopedic Medicine International (OMI), and Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT).
