About our job opening

Currently, there are three specialists, four resident doctors, and temporary junior doctors in our department.

We are now looking for a temporary junior doctor in rehabilitation medicine. You will be part of a rehabilitation medicine team and work closely with other professional categories within our area of operations.

We have a temporary position to offer, and the duration of the position is until 261231 at the latest.

About us

The Rehabilitation Medicine Department at SÄS specializes in rehabilitation for individuals who have suffered from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis, multiple fractures from accidents, amputations, and more.

The department consists of an inpatient ward with 10 beds and 10 day care places. We have an extensive outpatient service that includes spinal cord injury clinics, spasticity clinics, and outpatient brain injury rehabilitation.

Since December 2020, the department has been accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). In 2023, the operation received the highest possible rating, which is a three-year accreditation.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has completed a medical degree with a strong interest in rehabilitation medicine. We expect you to have good communication skills and a willingness to work in a team. You must have a command of the Swedish language at least at level C1. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
