At Silvergruvan's short-term unit, short-term guests receive care and support for a limited time.

The work is based on authority decisions with clear goals based on the unique needs of the short-term guests. The goal is to return to as independent a life as possible after their stay with us. Silvergruvan is an academic care and nursing home where various research projects are ongoing in collaboration with universities, which means that we will also receive students that you will meet in your work.

In your work at the short-term unit, you make a difference by contributing to the joy of life and well-being of the short-term guests. You will have the opportunity to develop and use your full competence as a nursing assistant. The interventions are regularly followed up in team meetings and collaborations in planning meetings together with the short-term guest, relatives, social workers, and other professionals in the guest's network. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed personnel. Team collaboration is a large and important part of our work. About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title, or can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced.

Further education in care and nursing is an advantage. You should have previous experience in care and nursing work, and it is beneficial if it is within short-term care. The job requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with others.

In your role, you will meet many people, which requires you to work together with others to achieve common goals. You are respectful, open, and positive in meetings with others, and you always have the best interests of the short-term guests in focus. The workday can sometimes become different than planned because you are working with people; therefore, you maintain calm, balance different demands, and prioritize your tasks.
