Job Advertisement: Nurse for Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic

NU Health Care is part of the Västra Götaland Region and is one of Sweden's larger county hospitals. We are located at NÄL (Norra Älvsborg County Hospital) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. The hospital's catchment area includes 280,000 residents. Together, we are about 5,000 employees who work every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare. About the Operation

At our clinic, you will be offered an exciting and challenging assignment.

You will be part of our team of 13 people. The team consists of doctors, medical secretaries, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers. We have close collaboration with two additional psychiatric clinics located in the same building.

Our ambition is to provide and create conditions for stimulating and developing work at our clinic, with well-established colleagues and a good work community with different focuses under the same roof. The psychiatric outpatient clinic is seen as the base of the specialist psychiatric operation, where the goal is to investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate in the patient's local environment as much as possible.

The target group is primarily individuals who need investigation and treatment for neuropsychiatric diagnoses within the specialist psychiatry's area of responsibility, as well as individuals being treated for opioid dependence through LARO (medication-assisted treatment for opioid dependence).

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, your tasks will include nursing and treatment work in the form of medication follow-up, assessment interviews, telephone advice, collaboration with other healthcare providers, SIP, 1177, SAMSA, care documentation, and other tasks that arise at the clinic.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with experience. Specialist training and experience in psychiatric care are meritorious.

The work requires personal maturity, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to make quick decisions. You should be stress-resistant and able to handle a high work pace. We expect you to be structured, clear, organized, and flexible, as well as having a willingness and interest in working and being part of a team.

We place great importance on personal suitability and value qualities such as flexibility and good social competence, where humor, initiative, and positive thinking are clear merits.

Other

The position is a permanent employment. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.
