Committed and Caring Nurse Wanted
We are now looking for a committed and caring nurse who wants to work with patients in psychiatry and LSS in municipal care.
With us, you will have a meaningful job where you make a real difference in people's everyday lives. You will work closely with patients and collaborate with colleagues, nursing staff, unit managers, and other stakeholders to create good, safe, and person-centered care. The work is characterized by a holistic approach with a focus on preventive measures, continuity, and participation.
In Svenljunga, we have the advantages of a small municipality; close to each other, to ideas, and to decisions. We who work here do so because we want to provide the best possible service to our residents. As an employer, we care about your quality of life; it is important to us that you, as an employee, feel happy and well. Therefore, we invest in good working conditions, strong leadership, and encourage your engagement. We value your unique knowledge and experience. We look forward to your participation in the development of our services.
Exciting developments are happening in our municipality and our organization. We are currently focusing particularly on children and youth. We have made our largest investment in schools ever and built two modern schools in the southern part of the municipality. Our appreciated Family Center will soon be joined by a Child and Youth Center.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of nurse, you will work independently in a varied assignment where you plan and structure your workday. The tasks include supportive and motivational conversations, medication management, medical assessments, sampling, as well as delegation and guidance of nursing staff. You contribute your expertise in psychiatry and LSS and support nursing staff in their daily work.
You have overall responsibility for the patients and perform both planned and acute interventions with a focus on mental health and, to some extent, somatic assessments.
The assignment includes convening and participating in coordinated individual planning (SIP) and initiating and coordinating contacts with doctors. You will have close and continuous cooperation with the region's specialist psychiatry and health centers.
The position involves close collaboration with colleagues, sharing an office and working alongside two other nurses. Documentation and collaboration with nursing staff, personal assistants, and housing support staff are a natural part of the work.
