Habilitation is specialized health care for children and adolescents with autism, intellectual disabilities, movement disabilities, or acquired brain injuries. We provide health-promoting and therapeutic interventions based on each individual's unique needs and circumstances, and we have specialist knowledge about how disabilities can affect daily life, health, and development.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include assessing and evaluating the patient's motor function and ability. Based on this, you will plan interventions together with colleagues in the team, the patient, and their network. You will carry out targeted physiotherapeutic measures, including prescribing aids where necessary. We work largely based on a consultative approach, which also involves contacts with other healthcare providers. The work is varied. You will be offered an introductory period and opportunities for collegial supervision as well as regular professional meetings.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed physiotherapist. Experience working with children and individuals with disabilities is an advantage. We are looking for someone who can and wants to collaborate with the patient and their network to find the conditions for functioning and developing in everyday life. The responsibilities also include group interventions called BIG - group treatment. BIG is the foundation of habilitation work where you as a physiotherapist are expected to lead groups both digitally and physically on-site. Experience in leading groups is therefore an advantage. You should be curious, flexible, responsible, and enjoy problem-solving. You are confident in your professional role and enjoy both independent work and collaborating with colleagues from other professions. A good attitude towards patients and colleagues is a given for us, so great importance is placed on personal suitability. Since the work involves travel, a B driver's license is required.
