About us

The Immunology Laboratory is one of five immunology laboratories in Sweden. We have a wide range of analyses and receive samples from all over the country. The number of samples can vary from a few per year to hundreds per week depending on the analysis the customer wishes to receive results for. A variety of tasks are promised with the opportunity to learn everything from manual to automated workflows.

About the job

The Immunology Laboratory conducts investigations for allergies, autoimmunity, and immunodeficiency diseases, among others, to assess disease activity or to see if a treatment has had an effect. The methods used include FEIA, ELISA, immunofluorescence, immunoblotting, flow cytometry, and cellular function tests.

About you

We are looking for a licensed biomedical analyst. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is necessary to work with us. Practical experience in laboratory work and/or immunological analyses is an advantage.

You will perform laboratory tasks and routines involved in sample handling, analysis, and result reporting. You take responsibility and drive your tasks to completion independently but are also good at collaborating in a team and clear when communicating with others. You are meticulous and good at planning and documenting your work. You are flexible and not afraid to learn new methods and techniques. We believe you thrive in an environment where you don’t always know what the day will bring, can reprioritize and adjust plans when necessary. You enjoy manual investigative work while having access to the latest technology in a high-tech lab. And last but not least, you care about delivering good service and quality, value a positive interaction, and ensure customer satisfaction! Personal suitability is of great importance.
