Description

The Hearing Service operates throughout the Västra Götaland Region and provides support and treatment to individuals with permanent hearing loss, deafness, and deafblindness of all ages.

The Hearing Service in Södra Älvsborg has clinics in Borås and Alingsås. Collaboration takes place with Ear, Nose, and Throat clinics, other services within Habilitering & Health, user organizations, colleges, and universities. We are now looking for a licensed audiologist for our Audiology Clinic, primarily located in Alingsås.

Responsibilities

As an audiologist in our unit, you will work with audiological diagnostics, rehabilitation of adults, service, student supervision, and collaboration with ENT, user organizations, and colleges and universities. The measures are based on a holistic approach where the audiologist collaborates with other professional categories together with the patient/relatives.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed audiologist. We are looking for someone interested in clinical work with hearing diagnostics and rehabilitation. Great emphasis is placed on good collaboration skills and personal suitability. It is important that the person we are looking for fits into the workgroup and wants to be part of the future development of the service. Experience working with Auditbase, Noah, and Melior is an advantage.
