JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist with us in Strömstad Municipality's primary care, you will combine a meaningful mission with the summer's energy on the west coast. You will be part of an engaged and competent team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and assistive technology specialists, where we together create conditions for an independent and meaningful life for our patients.

During the summer, you will meet people in various life situations and contribute with safety, structure, and rehabilitation when it is needed the most. Together with the patient and team, you set goals and plan actions that make a real difference in everyday life. You will work with rehabilitation for individuals enrolled in the municipal primary care in regular housing, in special housing, short-term units, and within habilitation at the basic level.

Your mission includes assessing activity ability, planning interventions and training, as well as testing and prescribing assistive devices based on individual needs. The work is independent, flexible, and varied with the freedom to plan your day, while having the team's support close at hand.

Summer also means close collaboration in our care planning team, where we together create safe and smooth transitions when discharging from hospitals and short-term units.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist who wants to make a difference in people's everyday lives. If you have experience from municipal health care, it is an advantage, but we also welcome you who are newly graduated or have experiences from other areas; we believe in potential and development!

You are a person who enjoys taking personal responsibility, planning and structuring your workday, while also having the ability to be flexible when new situations arise. You find it easy to prioritize and gain energy from working both independently and together with colleagues in the team.

Since you will meet people in many different life situations, it is important that you have an empathetic and professional approach and can adapt your communication according to the individual and situation. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

A driver's license (B) is a prerequisite for the job.
