Tandklinik Polhem is now looking for a dental hygienist for their clinic in central Alingsås. Here you will become part of a small team with close collaboration, clear routines, and a well-established patient base. The clinic has worked with dental hygienists since its inception in 1968, and the patients are accustomed to regular dental hygienist treatments and preventive dental care.

Tandklinik Polhem is located centrally in Alingsås and provides general dentistry for adult patients. The clinic has four treatment rooms and currently consists of two dentists, two dental nurses, and two dental hygienists.

The patient group consists of a loyal adult clientele, and many patients have been visiting the clinic for a long time. Here, work is carried out with broad general dentistry, larger prosthetic rehabilitations, surgery, and invisible braces, among other things, with close collaboration between the professional roles. The team holds regular therapy meetings where treatment plans are discussed together.

The clinic works digitally with, among other things, a digital scanner and digital X-ray.

In the role of dental hygienist, you work with varied tasks within adult dentistry. The workday may include periodontal treatments, examinations, whitening, emergency patients, and simpler fillings (if interested).

You work independently but simultaneously close to other colleagues at the clinic. The role also involves helping with daily operations when needed, for example with the phone and sterilization. In exceptional cases, when staff is lacking, you may be asked to assist with dentist assistance.

The clinic has high patient demand and a well-filled schedule, which requires structure, quality, and professional customer service.

✅ Swedish professional license as a dental hygienist (issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare) ✅ Fluent Swedish in speech and writing ✅ At least 3 years of experience as a dental hygienist
