Contract and Data Protection Officer at Vision

Vision is a modern and growing trade union in constant change, and we continue to increase our union strength. Vision's members lead, develop, and administer welfare and work in municipalities, regions, private companies, or the church. Our 218,000 members are spread across the country and within thousands of different professions, forming a valuable network together. We are a feminist organization, politically independent, and part of TCO.

Vision is increasing its union strength. In order for us to achieve our prioritized goals together, we also need to have order, quality, and compliance in what keeps the organization safe and efficient in everyday life – our contracts and our handling of personal data. Therefore, we are now looking for a contract and data protection officer who wants to combine law with operational support and build a structure that makes a real difference.

In this role, you will help the organization make secure decisions, reduce legal and financial risks, and create smooth workflows that make it easy to do the right thing. You will work closely with managers and employees in various parts of Vision and collaborate with data protection officers and internal and external lawyers as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

Contracts – structure, support, and follow-up

  • Coordinate and ensure the quality of the union's commercial contracts and personal data-related agreements.
  • Support negotiations and signing of larger contracts and assist the organization in contract matters.
  • Ensure that contract templates, policies, general terms, and procedures are current and used uniformly.
  • Be responsible for the contract database: structure, permissions, procedures, and further development of workflows.
  • Follow up on contracts (terms, extensions, responsibilities, costs, and commitments) and support contract managers in the organization.
  • Work proactively for cost control, quality, and reduced risk in contractual relationships.

Data Protection – coordination and compliance

  • Contribute to coordinating and maintaining the processing register according to Article 30 GDPR.
  • Participate in the development and quality assurance of PUB agreements and other data protection conditions.
  • Conduct risk and impact assessments, including DPIA when necessary, and propose risk-reducing measures.
  • Initiate and follow up data protection work in close collaboration with data protection officers and relevant functions.

Analysis and Decision Support

  • Conduct investigations and analyses that provide the office with a basis for sound decisions, e.g., in new collaborations, purchases, systems, or changed workflows.
  • Communicate with internal and external lawyers and data protection officers as needed.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Wants to grow in a broad role where you can combine law with operational support. You thrive when you can create structure, simplify, and make it easy for others to do the right thing.
  • Is at the beginning of your legal career or has another relevant academic education at a high level.
  • Wants to develop in contract law, data protection/GDPR, and procurement law.
  • Learn best by working practically and closely with the organization.
  • Can quickly understand the organization, assignments, and internal needs.
  • Collaborates smoothly but can also guide, challenge, and drive when needed.
  • Is unpretentious, curious, and results-oriented – and is happy to share your knowledge.

To thrive and succeed with us, you need to know and stand behind Vision's values: courage, trust, inclusion, and that we make each other better.

We are located in newly renovated premises in central Stockholm, designed with a focus on a varied work environment, focus, and recovery. The office is our primary workplace, and there is an opportunity to work remotely when the business allows.

Welcome with your application and CV. Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis.

The application deadline is February 15, 2026. You apply by clicking the apply button below.
