What you will do on a daily basis:

With the customer at the center, it is important that deliveries are made on time and with the right quality, and this is where you, as a Logistics Planner, come in as a very important part. You act as the link between the customer and the terminals' deliveries, a task you perform in close collaboration with both your colleagues in the planning function and colleagues out at our terminals.

The work consists of ongoing customer contacts and planning of customer orders. You control and plan customer deliveries, and based on incoming customer goods, you optimize and plan our deliveries from the terminals.

Administrative tasks such as deviation management, documentation, and reporting regarding deliveries and goods are also included. You will also get to plan and calculate various project inquiries.

Profile & background

To be successful in this role, we believe you have some form of higher education or vocational training in logistics or equivalent work experience.

It is an advantage if you have worked with planning and logistics for a few years.

Of course, you are passionate about logistics and planning, and perhaps you also have a special interest in shipping?

Based on the nature of the work, you need to be an experienced computer user and have experience working in various systems.

If you have experience working with improvements and are familiar with lean production, that is a plus.

As a person, you are a meticulous and responsible team player who enjoys working towards common goals with the customer's needs in focus. You have a flexible approach, a strong sense of service, are attentive, and communicative. We are curious and eager to learn new things, so don't be afraid to challenge.

The process:

As an applicant for Gothenburg's port, you may need to undergo a security check. This includes a background check before employment if the position is classified. In some cases, Swedish citizenship is required for classified positions. As a final step before employment, you will also need to undergo a drug test.

Requirements:

  • Fluent knowledge of English and Swedish in both spoken and written form

  • Good computer skills

  • Driver's license B

  • You have some form of logistics education

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
