Job Description
As a Production Engineer (PME) at GKN, you will work in a team in the value stream where your mission is to ensure that we deliver the right quality, at the right cost, and on time, together with your team. You will work daily to ensure quality and delivery, as well as more long-term to implement planned improvement projects. You will coordinate activities related to tool/fixture manufacturing, tool design, production preparation, method engineering, and CAM/NC.
- The focus is on robustness and zero defects, which we achieve through a mindset with 100% focus on quality and with the help of quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, and Problem Solving.
- Strong teams are fundamental to achieving our goals, where you contribute with your skills, curiosity, and team spirit to create a working climate with a winning culture.
- You will have close communication with operators and other engineers in daily work and participate in discussions with customers regarding production engineering issues.
- You will participate in technology development and industrialize new methods, processes, and ways of working to meet strategies in the area and on the product.
Qualifications
- Academic bachelor's degree, higher education, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
- Team player with a winning attitude!
- Drive and willingness to learn.
- Fearless and self-driven ability.
- Fact-oriented and analytical skills.
- Experience in welding is an advantage as we work with fabricated structures.
- Swedish and English in spoken and written form.

You should be open to variations in challenges and have the ability to organize and persistently find solutions for this. You value taking significant individual responsibility for your deliveries and are well-organized and goal-oriented.
