Do you want a role where you are at the center of events while having an overview of the entire drinking water network? As an operations planner at Water Operations, you ensure that the right action is taken – at the right time – in the right place.

You work at the heart of Gothenburg's water supply and create structure in what might otherwise risk becoming reactive.

Responsibilities

As an operations planner, you have a central coordinating role in the work with the operation and maintenance of the drinking water network. You:

Stay continuously updated on the status of the water pipeline network and associated facilities
Plan operational measures in collaboration with construction planning, operation technicians, operations management, project and work leaders, and external actors
Establish operational plans to ensure that actions are carried out in a controlled and structured manner
Plan water shutdowns in close dialogue with construction and operations planning
Continuously check the operational situation with the operations center and KC
Manage, plan, and follow up on efforts in the VA bank
Register and close actions in the VA bank
Document actions that affect the progress of the drinking water network in a shared log
Ensure correct status on open and closed valves
Update information on the website regarding planned shutdowns
Adjust readiness schedules as needed
Contribute to the development of technology, working methods, and routines within the operation and maintenance area

In short: you are the cohesive link between planning, operations, and execution.

Qualifications

Requirements:

High school education with a technical focus
Driver's license B

Meritorious:

Higher education in water supply, construction, or a similar technical field
Experience in planning within the water supply area or other technical infrastructure (e.g., telecommunications networks or similar)
Knowledge of or experience in water pipeline network operations
Experience with customer or user contacts
Experience working in the VA bank

Conditions

The position is security-classified and requires an approved security review, which includes drug and alcohol tests, background checks from Säpo, and that you have Swedish citizenship.
