The unit for labor market initiatives coordinates, among other things, summer jobs for youth in the age group 16-19 years and belongs to the department for promoting and preventive social initiatives.

The team currently consists of 6 employees and a team leader.

We are looking for someone who can complement and strengthen our work with the administration of summer jobs for 2026. The position is full-time and is temporary, ending at the end of August. We have an immediate need for a new colleague and value your availability as soon as possible.

Your role

As an administrator, you will plan and manage summer jobs together with your colleagues. Your workday will consist of contacting and networking with workplaces that host youth during the summer. You will answer questions from youth and parents via phone and email and handle the matching of summer jobs. Additionally, you will be responsible for employment meetings and other administrative tasks. Guiding and motivating youth will also be part of your daily routine.

In the summer of 2025, approximately 3000 youth were offered summer jobs through the Järva district administration. The work is intensive, so you must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• a degree in social or behavioral sciences that is deemed suitable by the employer.
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• previous experience working with youth and administration.

We are looking for someone with excellent collaboration skills who is used to working in a team. At the same time, you are self-driven and work in a structured manner by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work well.

As a person, you enjoy variation and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You are outgoing and have an easy time making new contacts. We also see that you are service-oriented and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
