JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job involves conducting supervision and assessment in the areas of environmental and health protection and food safety. The work is varied and developing; you will independently manage your cases in close collaboration with your colleagues. The work largely involves collaboration within the department with extensive delegation from the community planning committee. The job also includes contact with businesses and the public, including advice and information dissemination. We are a small office, which means that you as an inspector will have the opportunity to work broadly within the supervision areas.

In this position, you will work flexibly across our various areas of work. For applicants who have not previously worked in all areas, we offer good onboarding to provide you with the right conditions for the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You should have a university degree in environmental and health protection.
• You should have good knowledge of applicable legislation such as the Environmental Code and legislation related to government work, such as the Administrative Procedure Act.
• You should be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written language.
• Experience in similar work and knowledge of food legislation is an advantage.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.

You should thrive on being active and involved in the department's work with continuous improvements aimed at further developing good quality and efficiency. The salary range for this position is between 33,000 - 40,000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
