As an environmental and health protection inspector in Arjeplog Municipality, you will work with supervision, assessment, advice, and information within the areas of the Environmental Code, primarily concerning environmentally hazardous activities and health protection.

The focus can be adapted according to your skills or areas of interest.

Your work will include providing advice and service to our citizens and relevant stakeholders, as well as making decisions in administrative matters. We have a far-reaching delegation from the board. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in environmental and health protection, or another academic qualification that the employer considers equivalent. Experience in regulatory authority work within the environmental and health protection area is an advantage. It is also beneficial to have experience and good knowledge of current environmental legislation and its application.

The role of environmental and health protection inspector involves many contacts with people. Therefore, you need to be confident in your role, service-oriented, and have a positive attitude towards your work and the people you meet. It is important that you are comfortable in an outward-facing role and can express yourself well in both speech and writing. You must have a commitment to the tasks and the ability to independently plan, structure, and carry out your work. An important quality is to balance regulatory authority work with a more advisory role. Customer interaction is important to achieve good long-term results. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

A driver's license (B) is required.

We use EDP Vision as our case management system; experience with this system is a plus.
