Business Controller Wanted at LF Västernorrland

About the Role

As a business controller with us, you will be a key person in the finance department and work closely with our CFO, Christoffer Svensson. You will have broad responsibilities where, through in-depth analyses and a holistic perspective, you will contribute to developing and streamlining our operations. Your work will be crucial for us to make well-founded, strategic decisions in a changing and growing organization.

You will work with both ongoing and long-term issues and are expected to prioritize and drive several complex assignments simultaneously. The role also includes creating and maintaining good contacts with our managers and being a support for them in financial matters and decision-making. Your ability to see connections, identify opportunities and risks, and translate analysis into concrete actions is critical for success in the role.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective and clear reporting of our business and our delivery in relation to the company's goals and ambitions
• Conduct qualified and proactive analyses of the business operations, our activities, and the market at large
• Continuously evaluate and follow up our work to identify areas for improvement and drive development forward
• Contribute strategic insights and materials to management and other decision-makers

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in economics, preferably a Master of Science in Business and Economics, and several years of experience in qualified business analysis work. You have a very good understanding of banking and insurance operations and are accustomed to working with complex analyses that require both detail-oriented and strategic holistic perspectives. You have good knowledge of Excel and Power BI, using these tools to produce relevant analyses and decision support.
