Now, a completely new and unique LSS residence in the form of a service apartment is opening in Sundsvall Municipality, and we are looking for a committed social worker to become an important part of our team. We have high ambitions and are therefore looking for someone with a degree in social work to ensure a high quality and competence level in the operations. As a social worker, you will play a central role in realizing these goals and contribute to creating a meaningful and developing existence for our care recipients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be a central part of creating a safe, developing, and meaningful existence for the care recipients. You will ensure that each individual receives the support and assistance they need to live an independent life, where legal security is always prioritized. You are expected to identify individual risk and protective factors and actively work to strengthen protective factors to promote the individual's own abilities. Empowerment is an important part of your work, where you provide individuals with tools to shape their own life situation.

An important part of your role is to guide and support the staff to ensure high and consistent quality in daily work. You will work to ensure that each care recipient achieves good living conditions, which requires careful planning and follow-up of the work. You will also act as a bridge between the care recipient and external actors to create continuity and coordination in the care recipients' lives. Together with nurses and other staff, you will coordinate and ensure that all actors collaborate to support the individual's well-being and development.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with support educators to ensure that the care recipients' needs are met in a structured and pedagogical manner, focusing on participation and independence.

Other Responsibilities:

• Work with documentation, implementation plans, follow-ups, and incident reporting.
• Participate in the development of work methods and approaches within the operations.

The role is dynamic and may change over time based on the needs of the operations, giving you the opportunity to help shape the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another relevant higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of mental health or addiction at an advanced level.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or psychiatric needs or addiction issues.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You should also have basic computer skills and experience working in various operational systems, including ordering and registering information.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, attentive, and clear in their communication. You are structured, self-driven, and have the ability to make quick decisions and prioritize your tasks effectively. You are open to new working methods and find it easy to collaborate with different people and actors. Your curiosity and willingness to learn new things allow you to constantly develop in your professional role. Good communication skills are essential for you, as you will be in contact with both care recipients, relatives, and external actors. You are confident in yourself, trustworthy, and have the ability to create good relationships and meetings with people in various situations. You are driven by making a difference for others and have a strong commitment to providing professional support where needed.

You are well-grounded in the LSS legislation and the Social Welfare Board's guidelines, which allows you to professionally ensure that the rights and needs of care recipients are met.
