Job Description for Personal Assistant.

We are currently looking for a substitute for one of our female clients who can work during holidays, sick leave, and other absences.

For these positions, we are seeking someone who is calm and flexible. You need to be stable and stress-resistant since some days can be very busy while others may be less so.

We believe that you appreciate routines, but sometimes they need to be broken, and you should have foresight to anticipate what may happen. Handle broken routines and then return to routines.

Examples of common tasks:

As an assistant, you will work in a structured manner and follow the daily schedule that the client has. You will work independently but maintain close contact with the client's relatives and legal guardian. The client has her own apartment but is sometimes with her family.

You will support the client in her daily life and participate in daily activities. In consultation with the client's relatives and your colleagues, you will plan and ensure that activities in the client's daily life function properly, including health care, etc.

Standard care tasks, including tube feeding and managing a stoma.

Standard household tasks, where you are responsible for tidying up what you have used and performing the cleaning that the client would normally do at home.

Some experience working with an iPad and structuring daily life is an advantage. If you have experience in autism, intellectual disabilities, chromosomal abnormalities, and/or visual impairments, that is also a plus.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Experience in autism, intellectual disabilities, visual impairments, tube feeding, and stoma care is advantageous.
• Personal qualities: calm and flexible.
• Responsible and good at collaborating with your colleagues, the client, and the client's relatives.
• If you have studied child and youth care or nursing in high school or are training in that field, this could be a good part-time job.

Additional Information

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment and on-call employment.
• Scope: Part-time.
• Working hours: You will work on a rotating schedule, some overnight shifts but also daytime. 11-hour shifts.
• Start date: As soon as possible.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The workplace is located 30 km south of Örnsköldsvik. You need to be able to get to and from the workplace on your own, so we expect you to have your own car. You will not need a car for work.
