SiS LVM Home Lunden receives women and men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We accept clients who have mental health issues and clients who need medical care. We operate in Lund and Höör.

Job Description

Do you want to help create the vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients to adopt new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you ensure that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and safety of our clients and provide the foundation for daily life activities such as cleaning, cooking, and more. You contribute to maintaining safety in the institution according to our routines, and documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building secure relationships and help ensure that our clients receive the safety and security they need to break habitual behaviors. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are day, evening, and weekend, and we can also offer night shifts. You will inform our web-based booking system of your available hours, and you will be scheduled based on the needs of the operation.

You will receive internal training to prepare you for the assignment.

Qualifications

Your personal suitability is key to vital change. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, great empathy, and the ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can maintain your calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.

You should also have:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or LSS care
• Class B driver's license
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

Employment:

The position is a part-time employment with immediate start and by agreement.

We will conduct interviews and provide information on February 13 - please mark this date if you are called.

We will also have the first mandatory training sessions on March 17 and 18 - full days.
