SiS Youth Home Råby receives both girls and boys. We have both closed and open placements for secure youth care as well as treatment placements for youth placed under the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU).

Job Description

As a team leader, you are responsible for planning and operationally leading and distributing the daily work in the department. The team leader is part of the basic staffing and actively works in the operational activities with a focus on guiding and strengthening colleagues' ability to take responsibility and collaborate.

By being a good role model for colleagues in the department, you will promote a professional approach.

In close collaboration with staffing planners and the unit manager, you lead and allocate personnel resources so that they are distributed efficiently.

You are responsible for safety and fire regulations in the department and ensure that safety routines are followed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with personal maturity, a high level of self-control, self-awareness, and a professional approach. You should be stable and stress-resistant in pressured situations. You should have a good ability to collaborate in different teams and be able to lead without being a manager. You should possess a very good administrative ability and maintain a high degree of structure.

In working with vulnerable and sometimes aggressive youth and the staff who work closely with them, great emphasis is placed on your ability to be clear, pedagogical, and low-arousal in your interactions. At the same time, you should be flexible and solution-focused in an environment with rapid changes.

You need to have a good ability to communicate and express yourself in both speech and writing. You must be able to uphold our core values and treat everyone with respect, care, and clarity. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

You should also have:

• Education: Relevant university degree with a focus on social work and/or behavioral sciences or other education combined with work experience that SiS considers equivalent.
• Category B driver's license
• Experience in social work is a requirement. Work within the criminal justice system or experience from SiS is an advantage.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
