We are looking for an Independent Reviewer of Geotechnical Constructions for the East Link project for the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a multi-year consulting assignment.

The position is part-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As an independent reviewer, you will be responsible for ensuring that design and production meet the requirements of the Swedish Transport Administration and that risks of harm to third parties or impact on the environment are kept at an acceptable level. The role involves reviewing geotechnical constructions within railway projects and collaborating with the Transport Administration's responsible controllers.

Responsibilities

Independent review during design and production

Ensure risks of harm to third parties are kept at an acceptable level

Review of geotechnical constructions in accordance with the Transport Administration's technical regulations

Participation in project and design meetings as well as GK3 meetings

Assessment and documentation of review experiences within geotechnics

Collaborate with the Transport Administration's responsible controllers and other reviewers

Use IT tools for managing and communicating review materials

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

University/college education equivalent to a Swedish master's degree in engineering with a relevant focus, or other education or experience deemed equivalent.

Good knowledge of the Transport Administration's technical regulations within Geotechnics (including geotechnical constructions).

Documented experience of GK3 review, or other independent review, within the technical area of Geotechnics.

Experience from working on railway projects, or where the railway has been affected by the reviewed works.

Good language skills in Swedish and English.

Good ability to use IT tools.
