Building and maintaining roads and infrastructure is significant. Contributing to societal development is even greater. With us, you can do both. We are now looking for a Site Manager for the Industrial Division and our milling operations. At Svevia, we combine the camaraderie and team spirit of a small company with the stability of a large corporation. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop as a road specialist - with commitment, collaboration, and responsibility.

Your mission as a site manager

As a site manager in the milling operations, you will lead the daily production with responsibility for planning and organizing the work. You will be actively present on job sites, working alongside the milling teams and guiding them with your expertise.

We are looking for a site manager who takes responsibility for the daily management of the work and ensures that new employees receive the right support from the start. The role includes teaching our working methods, ensuring that routines are followed, and monitoring that the team works in a structured and efficient manner. You are present, clear, and enjoy leading by example. You will also have ongoing customer contact, ensuring that assignments are carried out as agreed and that customers feel secure and satisfied.

The work primarily takes place in the Stockholm area and Mälardalen as it is our primary market, but other geographical locations may also occur, hence there is some flexibility regarding geographical placement as the position involves a lot of travel. Some of the work is performed during inconvenient hours.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with an interest and at least 2-3 years of experience working with asphalt milling and a minimum of a high school education or equivalent, preferably with a focus on the construction industry. It is advantageous if you have worked as a team leader in milling.

As a site manager, you provide clear guidelines, motivate others, empower them, and offer opportunities for development. As a leader, it is important to create team spirit, show respect for others' opinions, and uphold ethics and values. You focus on customer needs and maintain good service, quality, and productivity according to high standards. A structured approach and good organization are prerequisites for managing the various aspects of the site manager role. You take initiative, solve problems, and enjoy having contact with customers and suppliers.

You have at least a B driver's license and good computer skills as administration occurs periodically.

Part of something bigger

Svevia's industrial division is in an expansive phase, and the ambitions are high. The goal is to be a leading player in paving in Sweden.

Behind every road lies more than the obvious surface: a whole industry of knowledge and delivery capability. Our offering is an industrial process. From stone to finished road.

It all starts with a quarry, which then becomes ballast, which in turn is used in the production of asphalt, which is finally laid on the road. With over 100 of our own quarries, our own production of asphalt, bitumen emulsion, and thermoplastics, we have a breadth that no one else has. In our laboratories, we conduct material analyses and ensure that the products meet standards and requirements. Our skilled teams in milling, paving, tank coating, and road marking ensure that the delivery is complete.

Why Svevia?

With us, you quickly become part of the team, and we care about being a workplace for everyone. The decision-making paths are short, and it is easy to influence and make your voice heard.

We have career paths for those who want to become managers and leaders or want to develop in their existing professional roles. It is as a team that we create success. That is how we do business and generate results. That is how we make cities and countryside function. Do you want to share the road with us?

Application and information

You can easily apply by sending in your CV and answering a few selection questions. Our recruitment process is based on a competency-based approach, which is a prerequisite for recruiting with quality, inclusivity, and without prejudice. Therefore, we do not want a personal letter.

The recruitment process includes tests of personality and problem-solving ability, interviews, and reference checks. The final candidate will also be subject to a background check.

Please submit your application by February 16, 2026.
