We are looking for a Technical Manager and other specialist reviewers for geotechnical constructions within the Ostlänken project at the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a multi-year part-time consulting assignment.

The assignment includes specialist review of construction documentation and coordination of the review process, in close collaboration with the Transport Administration's control managers. The role requires high flexibility, accuracy, and good collaboration skills.

The Assignment

As a Technical Manager or Specialist Reviewer, you will be responsible for reviewing construction documentation according to the Transport Administration's regulations. The work includes reviewing both temporary and permanent geotechnical constructions as well as coordinating the review process during design and production.

Responsibilities

Coordinate specialist reviews and independent reviews (only Technical Manager).

Be responsible for resource planning of the specialist review and the independent review (only Technical Manager).

Review text documents, drawings, and calculations.

Manage documents via the Transport Administration's Project Portal (PP) and Project Database (PDBi).

Communicate review comments in writing and at meetings.

Perform specialist reviews according to the Transport Administration's regulations (TRVINFRA-00229).

Ensure that construction documentation meets the Transport Administration's requirements (only Technical Manager under the control manager's guidance).

The specialist review covers temporary and permanent geotechnical constructions.

Participate in construction kickoff meetings and other technical meetings, primarily digitally.

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

Technical Manager:

Education equivalent to a Swedish civil engineering degree with relevant specialization in geotechnical constructions, or through other theoretical and practical education and/or experience, credibly demonstrated equivalent knowledge in the field of geotechnical constructions.

At least ten (10) years of professional experience in the field of geotechnical constructions.

Familiarity, as a geotechnical engineer or reviewer, with the Transport Administration's technical regulations regarding new construction.

Documented experience in reviewing and assessing FEM calculations.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Other Specialist Reviewers:

Education equivalent to a Swedish civil engineering degree with relevant specialization in geotechnical constructions, or through other theoretical and practical education and/or experience, credibly demonstrated equivalent knowledge in the field of geotechnical constructions.

At least five (5) years of professional experience in the field of geotechnical constructions.

Familiarity, as a geotechnical engineer or reviewer, with the Transport Administration's technical regulations regarding new construction.

Documented experience in reviewing and assessing FEM calculations.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
