As a Project Manager focusing on digital information management and design at the Swedish Transport Administration, you will help facilitate the everyday life of residents and businesses across Sweden. You do this by contributing to the infrastructure of the future. Are you ready for a new challenge? In an exciting and expanding organization? You now have the opportunity to contribute to a robust and secure transport system by ensuring that the eastern region conducts qualitative and secure management of digital information throughout its lifecycle. You will belong to the section for quality and safety within the eastern region, which in turn is part of the maintenance area. The geographical area includes Stockholm County and Gotland County.

In the role of project manager, you will have overall responsibility for driving and developing the organization's strategic direction in information management, BIM, and GIS as well as design. You will ensure that there is an organization for support in these areas and that it is delivered in an efficient and quality-oriented manner to continuously support the line operations. The project manager position is newly established, which means that there will be a significant responsibility in building strategies, working methods, and creating the future organization that includes Transport Administration employees and consultancy agreements. As a project manager, you lead others but do not have managerial responsibility.

The position includes;

• Responsibility for the organization: Ensure that support to line operations is effective, proactive, and tailored to the scope and competence and quality of the operations.
• Responsibility for consultancy contracts: Ensure that there are current consultancy contracts to draw from that correspond to the region's needs related to competence and volume.
• Strategic leadership and development: Lead and drive the development of the organization's long-term strategic goals and initiatives in information security, information management, BIM, and GIS as well as design.
• Information security: Drive the work and implementation at a strategic level to increase clarity regarding information security and data classification.
• Quality assurance within the area of responsibility: Ensure high quality, follow requirements and guidelines, and improvements through monitoring and evaluation.
• Continuous improvement within the area of responsibility: Identify and implement improvement measures within the organization and ensure that processes and routines are streamlined and adapted to changing needs and requirements.

We are looking for someone who has;

• University, college, KY, or YH education in a relevant field. Alternatively, you have another education combined with relevant experience that we collectively assess as equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant experience working as a project manager.
• Several years of relevant experience in digital project management, data coordination, or information management.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

It is also desirable if you have;

• Experience working with BIM, GIS, and CAD.
• Experience working with information security.
• Experience working with regulations and requirement documents.
• Experience working with SharePoint, ProjectWise, and CHAOS.
• Experience from the construction industry.

You are pedagogical and have good communication skills, able to convey messages in a simple and understandable way. The role involves many points of contact, making good collaboration skills crucial, where you are motivated by active participation and take purposeful responsibility for your tasks. At the same time, you are aware of how you are part of the whole and contribute by collaborating with others. For effective information management, a structured working method is also required.
