The business area NCC Industry is a Nordic organization specializing in solutions for stone materials, asphalt production, and paving. As a Business Controller at NCC Industry, you will have overall responsibility for one of our areas within stone materials – from blasting to finished product and sales. In this role, you will be a central part of developing the business through analysis, follow-up, and improvement work.

You will work closely with the controllers of the business area and report to the Manager of Department Business Control.

Your main responsibilities

• Be responsible for financial reporting, including forecasts, monthly closings, quarterly reports, and performance tracking.
• Analyze budgets and outcomes, ensure correct accounting, and conduct reasonableness assessments.
• Act as a business support to the department's managers to achieve set financial goals.
• Educate, support, and coach in financial matters and contribute to increased financial understanding within the organization.

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in finance.
• 2-3 years of experience as a controller in a larger organization.
• Experience from the construction or industrial sector is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and good understanding of business-driven financial tools.
• Proficient user of Excel, Power BI, and business systems.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

Additional information

• It is best if you are based in our office in Umeå, where most colleagues are present, but for the right person, we are open to discussing placement at our offices in Gävle or Östersund.
• The role includes some travel within the department's geographical area; a B driver's license is required.
• The role is a permanent position, with an initial probationary period of 6 months.
