Hotel Helgeand in Visby is a family-owned hotel with 20 rooms in buildings dating back to the 13th century. It is a personal hotel where we focus on the guest and maintain a high level of service in all situations. We dare to say that we are one of Visby's best hotels with many satisfied guests. Every guest who stays with us should feel seen and acknowledged. We are happy to assist with "the little extra" that guests do not normally expect. The hotel is centrally located in Visby but has a quiet courtyard. This is a place for those who appreciate tranquility. Our guests are primarily couples around the age of 60. We have many international guests.

The hotel is open 10 months a year and closes in January and February for vacation.

We are now looking for a hotel staff member who loves service.

Since we are a small hotel, the position is a bit unique. It consists of part-time reception work and part-time breakfast duties. It may also happen that you need to help with cleaning occasionally. During the summer, work can be intense, and during the low season, it can be slow. The position fluctuates between full-time and part-time depending on the season, but it is primarily part-time.

You need to be a team player while also being able to work independently and take responsibility for the entire operation if necessary.

You love working with service and understand the importance of putting the guest first. You need to be able to get up early in the mornings to work breakfast and handle simpler office tasks at the reception. You should not be afraid to temporarily step in for cleaning when needed. You also need to "endure" that it can be slow during the afternoons in the low season.

You need to be flexible with your working hours; sometimes shifts are from 06:00 to 12:30, and sometimes from 15:00 to 18:30. You work five days a week, but we are very flexible if you need to be off on certain days.

Your personality is more important than your experience; however, it is a great advantage if you have worked in service before.

You need to have accommodation on Gotland, as we unfortunately cannot assist with housing.

Interviews will take place during March. Planned job start is April 1st.
