Göteborgs Stads Kollektivtrafik AB (GSK) is the parent company for the companies included in the group; Göteborgs Spårvägar AB and GS Trafikantservice AB.

The articles of association for GSK state that "The purpose of Göteborgs Stad's operations is to meet the city's need for an efficient, environmentally friendly, and quality public transport as well as related services and products in the transport area."

Job Responsibilities

GS Trafikantservice AB offers services in the public transport sector to facilitate travel, increase traffic revenues, and contribute to enhanced comfort and safety. Traffic service consists of four units with different assignments.

We are now looking for informers for the Resource Pool unit whose task is to assist travelers during traffic disruptions in the Västtrafik area. As an informer, you will work out in the city in direct contact with travelers and thus become an important part of the Västtrafik brand. We work proactively and want you to be independent and take initiative in your interactions with customers.

Your tasks may vary but mainly consist of the following responsibilities:

• In a service-oriented manner, inform about fares and routes as well as changes in public transport during events and traffic rerouting at affected locations.
• Monitor planned and urgent events in traffic to inform travelers.
• Provide situation reports to relevant stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who wants a part-time position with a strong focus on work during the spring and summer periods, with good career opportunities within several of our units. Working hours vary with early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends, so it is important that you are flexible and can step in at short notice in addition to the planned schedule.

You have a high school diploma and very good knowledge of Swedish and English; other languages are a merit. You have the ability to absorb information and convey it to customers. Good local knowledge regarding the Västtrafik area is important.

You are attentive to travelers' needs, enjoy solving problems, have good communication skills, and can remain calm in pressured situations. You are independent and take initiative and can work both independently and in a group. You enjoy being outdoors in all weather.
