Engaged Nurse Wanted for Department B173 Nephrology
Are you an engaged nurse with an interest in nephrology? We are looking for you to be part of our competent and caring team at Department B173 Nephrology!
B173 is a department that dares to think outside the box; we are driven by great enthusiasm and commitment, where we see solutions and opportunities instead of problems.
We work for an open and helpful climate where we encourage questions and suggestions for improvements. Do you want to help create a thriving and absolutely fantastic department? We and our patients need you with drive, passion, and commitment!
Our Offer
We offer:
- A varied and stimulating work environment with a focus on professional development.
- Support and training in nephrology and nursing.
- Opportunity to work day, evening, and night shifts.
- Engaged and experienced colleagues who value teamwork.
- Clinical foundation year for newly graduated nurses.
- Benefits such as wellness grants, pension, and opportunities for professional development.
- A fantastic workgroup that supports each other and where everyone is equally important!
Department B173 is a specialized unit where we care for patients with kidney diseases, rheumatological diseases, and other complex internal medicine needs. To provide security and support for you as a new nurse, there is an experienced mentor-nurse present on weekdays. The mentor-nurse can relieve the care team as needed by assisting with complicated patient cases and answering questions that may arise from various sources. We are also a department that has come far in digital development and work with iPads (NOVA tablet) where we create digital checklists of what needs to be done during the day. The iPad also provides access to Cosmic for easier documentation, reading journals, and administering medications. All employees therefore have their own iPad as a work tool.
DOA - our day care service is a relatively newly established unit where patients come for various infusions and outpatient procedures. This service is adjacent to the department and contributes to reduced admissions. For those wishing, there may be opportunities to rotate to day care for variation in daily work. We also explore and encourage opportunities for rotation to our dialysis clinic at the University Hospital! Since we are a 24/7 operation, the position with us includes day, evening, and night shifts. However, if you are primarily interested in working night shifts, that option is available.
