School Nurse at Vittra Lambohov

Vittra Schools, one of Sweden's leading independent school companies with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Vittra Lambohov started in the autumn of 2002 in central Lambohov. Today, we have about 225 children and students from preschool to grade 9, of which about 50 are in preschool. We have over 30 dedicated and well-educated educators working in well-functioning teams.

Job Responsibilities

As a school nurse, you primarily work in health promotion and prevention. The overarching goal is for all students to have the opportunity to meet the required knowledge criteria in school. As a school nurse, you are part of a comprehensive student health team at the school and work closely with the school doctor, special educator, psychologist, counselor, and principal. A comprehensive student health service should support students' development towards the educational goals.

The school nurse's duties include standard school nursing tasks that are essential parts of the above work.

Health visits and the open reception are important parts of ensuring that each student receives the support they need in school. Other tasks include vaccinations according to the general vaccination program.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed nurse with specialized training in health and medical care for children and adolescents or open health and medical care. Previous experience working with children and adolescents, as well as experience as a school nurse, is considered an advantage. The job requires good computer skills.

As a person, you should be structured and meticulous, enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams, and have an entrepreneurial spirit, someone who enjoys creating and taking initiative. You have a strong drive for health promotion work, creating a school environment that is positive, tolerant, and safe, and continuously working together to build good relationships at all levels.

Employment Conditions

The position is permanent at 50% with a 6-month probationary period. The position is a vacation job. Start date is according to agreement. The application deadline is 2026-03-04. The position may be filled before the application period has ended.
