You will work in oncology, neurosurgery, and diabetes.

BOND is part of H.K.H. Crown Princess Victoria's Children's and Youth Hospital, where we have a close collaboration with our other care units. BOND is one of six oncology centers in Sweden with a catchment area in the Southeast hospital region. The pediatric oncology unit also includes day care services and outpatient clinics. These services are integrated with the inpatient department and are run in close collaboration with BOND. The staff groups work closely together, and knowledge exchange between the units occurs based on needs.

Job Description

As a nurse at BOND H.K.H. Crown Princess Victoria's Children's and Youth Hospital, you will work based on our values – always putting children first. At BOND, we investigate and treat children and adolescents with oncological and serious hematological diseases, children and adolescents in need of neurosurgical interventions, as well as children and adolescents with diabetes. This makes our operations very varied and stimulating. No day is the same, and there are significant opportunities for professional development within pediatric and adolescent care. We work with children and adolescents affected by diseases in oncology, neurosurgery, and diabetes, with the possibility of two intermediate places for our most medically demanding and sick children and adolescents. With nine care places, we care for children and adolescents aged 0-18 years. The whole family is an important part of the care process. We continuously work on care development to ensure our patients receive the best care possible, and we strive for high patient safety.

The work involves rotation during days, evenings, and nights. You have the opportunity to influence your working hours and salary with an individual schedule and point model, which can reduce working hours down to 32 hours/week.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, with or without previous work experience. As a person, you are responsible, solution-focused, and reliable. You easily adapt to new conditions and can handle a varying workload. You are structured and can prioritize and make quick decisions when necessary. It is essential that you have good collaboration skills and contribute with a positive and professional attitude in your work. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Experience working with children and specialized training in pediatric care is an advantage but not a requirement.

Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You are structured and can prioritize and make quick decisions when necessary. It is essential that you have good collaboration skills and contribute with a positive and professional attitude in your work. We place great importance on personal suitability.
