Job Description

The tasks consist of dietary treatment and advice to patients primarily individually as well as internal training of other staff, investigating, treating, and preventing diseases and symptoms related to diet. In the role, you will work independently with nutritional assessments, dietary history, and individual dietary plans, as well as provide advice on issues such as involuntary weight loss, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and IBS/gastrointestinal.

Responsibilities and tasks may include:

• Conducting nutritional evaluations and assessments of patients' nutritional status.
• Designing and implementing individually tailored dietary plans to meet patients' specific needs and goals.
• Providing advice and support to patients with diet-related health issues, such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and digestive problems.
• Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated care plan.

You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare personnel for a holistic approach to primary care and document in the journal system. You will be part of an on-call service where dietitians cover for each other during absences, for example in the summer.

Your position is currently divided between two health centers in Norrköping, and you will have the opportunity to influence the future organization that will be under review. About You

We are looking for a licensed dietitian, preferably with previous experience working in primary care. We place great importance on personal suitability.
