Alvik School is a F-6 school located about 25 kilometers outside Luleå in the village of Alvik. Our vision is "All children should feel seen and understood and develop according to their abilities in a safe and accessible learning environment".

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged teacher for our after-school program. With us, you have great opportunities to contribute to the development of the after-school activities. At Alvik School, we work to create a good environment for all our students. All our students should have joy and enthusiasm for their learning and feel comfortable, develop, and feel secure in their school environment. The position as a teacher in the after-school program at Alvik School involves working with student groups during the day and in the after-school program in the afternoons. Break activities may be included in the assignment. The position entails responsibility for conducting after-school activities, which includes planning and following up on the activities, both individually and together with your work team.

The goal for the after-school program is to create an environment that promotes safety, social awareness, and independence. Students are offered a meaningful leisure time that supports their development and encourages them to take their own initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching license with qualifications for after-school programs. Previous experience in after-school activities or school is an asset, as well as being familiar with the curriculum for after-school programs. Individuals with other pedagogical higher education may also be considered for the position. Since much of the work is conducted outdoors, it is an advantage to enjoy outdoor life.

You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks, placing great emphasis on quality. You enjoy collaborating and building good relationships with both children and adults. Providing good service feels natural to you and is always something you strive for. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are offered the position, you must submit a valid extract from the criminal record register.
