Job Description

As a teaching assistant, you will work specifically with individual students but also provide support in the student group. You will follow the student throughout the school day, in both teaching situations and during breaks, and support them to ensure that the school day is carried out in a safe manner. You are available but do not intervene unnecessarily, allowing the student to solve situations independently when possible.

You will create a close relationship with the student to provide security in their schooling while maintaining professional distance. You will have a low-arousal approach and be clear in your communication. You will collaborate with teachers, student health, and other relevant staff with the student's best interests in focus. As a person, you are flexible and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Qualifications

You have completed the Child and Recreation program or another education deemed equivalent by the employer. You are flexible and have good collaborative skills as well as the ability to interpret signals and stay one step ahead. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Additional Information

The position is a fixed-term employment until 260612. Upon employment, you are required to present a criminal record extract according to the Education Act (2010:800 2 chap §31). Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. The position may therefore be filled before the application period has expired.
