Job Description

As our previous Service Area Manager for the HVAC and Sprinkler section in Alingsås has moved on to new challenges within the company, we are looking for a new Service Area Manager who wants to continue developing AFRY.

At AFRY in Alingsås, we currently have over 25 employees in the office from various technical fields. Within the HVAC & Sprinkler section, we are 16 colleagues, located in both Alingsås and Borås. We primarily work with HVAC and are active in all stages from feasibility studies/investigations, through design to project inspections, etc.

As a Service Area Manager with us, you will have a role with great variety, the opportunity for many contacts and customer meetings, with the responsibility to achieve successful and sustainable business. You will be responsible for the entire section's operations, including strategies, profitability, marketing, quality, personnel, and competence development. You see and hear your employees and help them grow. Leading and further developing your employees is an important part of your work, where you are expected to exercise a modern and coaching leadership that builds teams and clarifies the common goals for the business. You will combine your managerial role with also working operationally in assignments as a project manager or specialist.

Qualifications

We prefer that you are a graduate engineer or have equivalent education in construction/energy/installation, or have acquired equivalent knowledge in the workplace. We are looking for someone with good experience working as a consultant, contractor, or client in HVAC design. You are an experienced HVAC consultant (at least 5-10 years) and have an interest in installation, construction, and sustainable building. You easily understand and participate in technical discussions and thrive in a fast-paced environment characterized by strong growth. We also prefer that you have experience in designing total contracts. Even though we are an international company, you need to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing to meet our customers' needs.

We value qualities such as self-driven, initiative-taking, and business-minded. You easily share your knowledge and can explain in a pedagogical way, both for customers and colleagues. You are relationship-building, and it is a great advantage if you have or have started to build a network in the industry. As a person, you are curious and interested in your technical area; that is what drives and energizes you. Of course, you see yourself as a team player and are driven by constant development. You enjoy challenges and have a natural talent for creating long-lasting and sustainable relationships with customers and colleagues.
