Professional Galaxy is looking for a Software Consultant on behalf of our client.

Description

Combitech is looking for a Software Consultant for battery development/diagnostic tools/Chargers/Python/Pytest/Automated testing/Jira.

You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for batteries and chargers. The team, with expertise in electronics, mechanics, software, and testing, is responsible for both existing battery and charger products and the development of new products and solutions. Your role will be to develop software in our batteries, diagnostic tools, and chargers, working in Python and pytest. You will work closely with the rest of the team and develop and perform automated testing, as well as testing and verification of your work in the lab. Software development is performed in sprints with SW releases, using JIRA, and you will be responsible for documentation and release notes.

What we expect from you: • 5+ years of experience in software development • Good knowledge of Python, pytest, GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins • Knowledge in electronics is a plus • A structured way of working and a problem-solving mindset • The ability to work as part of a team to find the best solution • A pragmatic approach to new challenges and the ability to rapidly switch tasks depending on priorities • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
