About us

Health Center Åsidan is a well-established health center with over 12,000 registered patients and about 50 employees. All professions in primary care are represented at the unit. We also have a family center in Brandkärr.

Health Center Åsidan is located close to the E4 highway and the train station, which facilitates commuting.

Your responsibilities

Your tasks include collaboration with other professions, teamwork, regarding simple and more complex conditions, clinical assessments, and actions with a person-centered approach. You work with a health-promoting perspective and provide support for people of all ages and health conditions. You make independent assessments, examinations, and triage to the right level of care. You meet your patients physically, virtually, or by phone.

We strive for generalist competence, as the breadth of our areas of responsibility is large, there is also room to become particularly focused on a specific area such as diabetes, asthma-COPD, hypertension/heart failure, memory clinics, and coordination for our elderly in collaboration with inpatient care and the municipality. You have the opportunity to conduct improvement and development work, mentor colleagues and students. Work on the primary care emergency service on occasional weekends is also included.

There is an opportunity to influence your working hours within given frameworks and also some possibility for remote work.

Your qualifications

Primarily, we need and are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse. However, if you are a licensed nurse with extensive experience in primary care, you are also welcome to apply.

If you have previous experience from primary care and outpatient work or have one or more areas of expertise such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, heart failure, dementia, or coordination, it is meritorious. We are looking for someone who enjoys clinical work and who finds it easy to collaborate and discuss with colleagues across all our professional groups.

You have good initiative and the ability to make your own decisions. We value your ability to work well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You are a good communicator, confident and stable with well-founded and clear values that you base your actions on. You have a positive attitude towards development work and the ability to see opportunities when circumstances change.

Good language skills in Swedish and good IT skills are required. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
