The Social Office is responsible for elderly care, care for people with disabilities, social psychiatry, health and medical care, individual and family care (IFO), outpatient care, labor market, and authority exercise. We are now looking for a Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR).

As the Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR), you have the overall medical responsibility for quality and patient safety within the municipality's rehabilitation. You ensure that residents receive safe, appropriate, and legally secure care in accordance with laws and regulations.

As MAR, you are part of the social manager's management team. Here you contribute with system management, quality control, follow-up, and strategic priorities for the entire social administration. This is a mission for you who want to help shape the future of health and medical care!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role includes, among other things:

  • being responsible for Lex Maria within the rehabilitation area, including assessment, analysis, and knowledge feedback
  • contributing medical analysis to the preventive quality work related to Lex Sarah
  • developing and following up routines for documentation, assistive technology management, risk assessments, and delegations
  • supporting managers and licensed professionals in complex cases and during transitions in care

You work closely with the municipality's Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS). Together, you maintain the medical responsibility and create robust processes, clear working methods, and a shared learning environment throughout the organization.

An important part of your daily work is to be a present and qualified support in the quality and development work of the operations. You contribute medical expertise, guidance, and analyses that make a difference in daily work.

You drive rehabilitation work based on evidence, proven experience, and current research. Through environmental monitoring and structured knowledge work, you bring in new knowledge to the organization and strengthen the municipality's collaboration with academia.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • licensure as a physiotherapist/physical therapist or occupational therapist
  • experience in health and medical care, preferably municipal experience.
  • good knowledge of HSL, rehabilitation processes, and patient safety.
  • previous experience in change management.
  • good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
  • good familiarity with using IT as a support in work, e.g., Office package, Teams, etc.
  • driver's license (B)

We consider it an advantage if you have:

  • knowledge of special legislation concerning the Social Office's operations.
  • knowledge/understanding of how a politically governed organization works.
  • experience in managerial work within the office's areas of responsibility.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we will place great emphasis on them. You have a strong analytical ability and can lead development work that creates consensus and clear direction. With confidence and good communication skills, you support managers and operations and ensure that messages are conveyed and followed up.

You are driven by evidence, learning, and improvement and work strategically and long-term to develop municipal rehabilitation. You analyze risks, deviations, and quality data and quickly see patterns and connections.

You make well-founded priorities and trade-offs and actively contribute to the common strategic development work. As a leader, you create engagement, participation, and conditions for others to achieve common goals.
