We are now looking for summer substitutes in the disability area within the social administration. Those who start with us may work in personal assistance, housing support, or in facilities such as group homes and service housing. You do not need a driver's license to work with us. In some workgroups, you walk or bike to the users. If you have a driver's license, it is an advantage, as you can work in more areas.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a summer substitute, you provide support and care to individuals who need help in their daily lives due to an intellectual disability, neuropsychiatric difficulties (NPF), and/or challenging behaviors. This may involve providing support at home, accompanying on activities, assisting with routines, and creating safety and structure in everyday life.

The work may also involve personal care and social support. Documentation is an important part of the daily work, where you continuously note significant events. Some individuals need extra clarity in everyday life or support in their communication, and you will receive guidance from experienced colleagues on how to provide the support.

Working hours vary and may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

WE HIGHLY VALUE:

• Certified nursing assistant education, preschool teacher education, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience with clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal approaches.
• Knowledge of AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication).
• Experience working with individuals in need of support and care.
• Driver's license B.
