The municipality is organized into four main missions. The main mission of the Municipal Management is centrally gathered functions within finance, HR, communication, customer service, and digitalization. With specialist competence and a holistic perspective, we coordinate, develop, and drive municipal processes and projects.
As a Service Desk Technician, you belong to the Digitalization Unit and report to the Head of Digitalization. The Digitalization Unit works across the municipality to lead, support, and coordinate Ängelholm Municipality's digital transformation. The Digitalization Unit is also responsible for the operation and management of the municipality's IT environment and infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Service Desk Technician, you will be one of our important hubs in the municipality's IT support. You are the first contact when users need help via phone, email, or case management system.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Troubleshooting, support, and guidance within the IT environment
- Management of incidents, orders, and account administration
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of clients and peripherals
- Contributing to improvements and development of our internal work processes
- Collaboration with colleagues within Digitalization and external suppliers
We are looking for someone who is:
- Service-oriented, solution-focused, and comfortable in user contact
- Detail-oriented, structured, and used to working in a fast-paced environment
- Interested in technology and has experience in IT support or similar work
- Familiar with working in case management systems and modern IT environments
- Enjoys working in a team where you both give and take, support your colleagues, and together drive the work forward
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in municipal operations
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment
- Experience in networks, client management, or IT security
You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have the ability to see the digital workplace from a holistic perspective and can communicate with both technicians and users in a needs- and solutions-oriented way that they can relate to and understand. As a person, you are detail-oriented, structured, and methodical, and have the ability to combine problem-solving with long-term planning. You are brave and have the power to implement improvements, and you possess the will, drive, and vision required to carry out the changes that digitalization enables.
To succeed in the role, you need drive, patience, good collaboration skills, and an understanding of both colleagues, municipal operations, and suppliers.
