The operational area (VO) Imaging and Function at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) in Lund and Malmö includes medical radiology, neuroradiology, clinical physiology, nuclear medicine, and clinical neurophysiology. We have about 740 employees and are also responsible for the radiology operations in Trelleborg.

The operations conduct both acute and elective diagnostics and have a comprehensive operation within CT, PET-CT, MRI, ultrasound, and interventions. In parallel with the clinical operations, we have a significant mission in education and research, which means that our system solutions need to be robust, secure, and future-oriented.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an IT administrator focusing on PACS, you are a central function in the management, development, and quality assurance of our patient administrative regional system Sectra RIS/PACS. You work closely with both the operations and the supplier and have a holistic perspective for the entire VO Imaging and Function as well as the regional assignment.

Your tasks include:

• driving development, optimization, and quality assurance within the PACS area
• handling error cases and providing support to the staff of the operations
• implementing local, regional, and national guidelines together with other responsible parties
• being an advisor in system-related issues
• training and informing internally and externally during introductions and system upgrades
• supporting researchers in system and data-related issues
• engaging in dialogue with suppliers in change and improvement work
• promoting a good physical and mental work environment.

The role involves close collaboration with clinical staff, managers, IT functions, and external actors.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education in IT/data at the high school or post-secondary level, or other education deemed equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Familiarity with and experience of Sectra's systems, especially RIS/PACS, is an advantage. Knowledge of the healthcare organization and the medical specialties included in the operational area is also beneficial, as well as programming and database skills.

You have good analytical skills and enjoy working in structured ways in complex environments. Furthermore, you are innovative and solution-focused, with an ability to see both details and the big picture. You communicate clearly and pedagogically, create engagement, and have good collaboration skills. The ability to plan, coordinate, and drive work forward is crucial in this role.

Since you operate for the entire operational area and in a regional context, you need to have a pronounced holistic perspective.
