Are you a trained nursing assistant with an interest in day surgery? We are looking for a new colleague who wants to contribute to providing our patients with the best care.

The area of anesthesiology/surgery/intensive care operates at Kristianstad Central Hospital (CSK) and consists of central surgery, recovery department for day surgery, anesthesiology outpatient clinic, postoperative department, sterile technical unit, pain clinic, and intensive care unit.

At CSK, we perform approximately 4000 day surgeries per year, of which about a quarter are children. Day Surgery Kristianstad (DagOp) has a total of about 19 places divided into DagOp A, which primarily monitors adult patients, and DagOp B, which primarily monitors children. Our team consists of specialist nurses, general nurses, and nursing assistants. In daily work, there are always two anesthesiologists available. We also have a unique anesthesiology outpatient clinic in Sweden where anesthesiology nurses meet all day surgery patients before anesthesia.

CSK is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Emergency care is provided around the clock. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the closeness and community of a smaller hospital. JOB DESCRIPTION

We welcome a nursing assistant for a temporary position from 2026-03-01 to 2027-08-31. Here you will have a varied job with engaged colleagues!

In the role of nursing assistant with us, you will work with pre- and postoperative care and monitoring of patients. In this role, you will also work in our journal and documentation systems, Melior and Orbit. We have close collaboration between different professional categories and an open and positive work climate. We value employee development opportunities and participation in the organization. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a focus on emergency care according to the previous program structure or a trained nursing assistant within the new program structure who has studied all specializations. Additionally, you have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as work experience as a nursing assistant. It is an advantage if you have experience working in pediatric care, emergency care, and/or intensive care. Experience with Melior and/or Orbit is also advantageous.

You are meticulous in your nursing assistant role and take care of patients based on their different needs and provide them with good treatment.
